Summer Means...

Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Beach

If you're anything like me then you feel like you need a vacation after Christmas. I can only imagine how Santa and his lovely wife feel. I bet on December 26, they catch the first plane to Aruba. Once there they spend the rest of the winter lounging on the beach, swimming in the ocean and heated hotel pool, catching up on all the books they haven't had time to read, parasailing, snorkling, kayating.....


Don't forget the sunscreen Santa!

Marching Flamingos

On our honeymoon in Nassua, we saw marching flamingos at the Astoria Zoo. It was incredible. Their drill instructor called out instructions and the flamingos fell into place. Everytime I make flamingo cookies, I think of those trained flamingos marching into formation.
